YEREVAN. – Stepanakert should have the last word on Karabakh issue, former defense minister Seyran Ohanyan said speaking at the first congress of Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian alliance.
According to him, the Armenian and Azerbaijani people have lived and will live in the neighborhood, but there is a need to tackle several problems: g=first to keep the balance of security, promote public diplomacy to form an atmosphere of trust.
“There must be neither a winner and a loser, nor unilateral concessions,” Ohanyan said.
The politician underscored crucial role of Russia, U.S. and France as co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group.
“But Stepanakert should have the last word. The problem has to be solved on the basis of 25-year-old reality of the self-determination of the Karabakh people,” he emphasized.
