YEREVAN. - Head of the Defense Policy Department of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Levon Ayvazyan, on Saturday received military attachés of foreign states accredited in Armenia.  

At the meeting, the attachés were briefed on the infiltration attempts initiated by the adversary on the contact line between the Artsakh –Azerbaijani opposing forces from late Friday to early Saturday, their prevention and the losses sustained by the adversary, as well as the situation on the contact line,  the Defense Ministry informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

According to Ayvazyan, given these conditions, the Armenian side hopes that Azerbaijan will refrain from escalating the situation. It was also noted that all necessary measures will be taken to suppress the possible adventurism of the adversary.
