STEPANAKERT. – The adversary continued intensively violating the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces, from late Saturday night to early Sunday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 2,200 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and with a variety of weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

A more intense breach of the truce was recorded in the eastern, northeastern, and northern directions of the line of contact, where the adversary fired 36 cannon shells and 77 mortar shells. In addition, the Azerbaijani army fired 18 cannon shells toward Talish village.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units took actions in response, and continued confidently carrying out their military watch.
