YEREVAN. - The inclusion of Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan in the candidate list of ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) was an ill-conceived step.  

Head of the parliamentary faction of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), Levon Zurabyan, told the aforementioned to journalists in the National Assembly (NA) on Monday.  

In his words, the fact that the Defense Minister has appeared in the RPA candidate list is indeed a problem. “This wasn’t a successful decision. What does the Minister do in the party list in the conditions, when there is a serious threat of resumption of military actions? This was an ill-conceived step,” Zurabyan added.
