BRUSSELS. - The April war and the incidents following it show that the Karabakh conflict is active.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said the aforementioned at a joint press-conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels Monday.

“The April war and the incidents following it show that the Karabakh conflict is active, thus demanding the international community to be more active in supporting the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” Sargsyan said, reiterating Armenia’s commitment to resolve the conflict through peaceful means.

According to the President, Armenia established cooperation with NATO a quarter of century ago, this cooperation having grown during that period.  “Armenia-EU relations have quite a rich agenda, which includes both highest level political dialogue and other examples of actions. Armenia is considered by the Treaty members as an active partner, while our servicemen participating in peacekeeping missions are deemed as disciplined servicemen,” Sargsyan noted.
