YEREVAN. - The 11th joint consular session between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Iran took place in Yerevan on Tuesday.

The session was attended by the representatives of the Armenian MFA, as well as ministries of Justice, Education and Science, Transport, Communication and Information Technologies.

The session participants discussed the process of implementing the arrangements reached during the 10th joint consular session held in Tehran, expressing readiness to contribute to the development of relations between the two countries within the scope of their competences.

At the end of the meeting, head of the Armenian MFA Consular Department, Vladimir Karmirshalyan, and his Iranian counterpart, Ali Chegini, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
