YEREVAN. - The opening of a railway via Abkhazia is not discussed now but other alternatives are being considered.

Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan said the aforementioned in the parliament on Wednesday, responding to the question of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction MP Shirak Torosyan.

Referring to the results of his visit to Tbilisi and his meeting with Georgian PM Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Karapetyan noted that the possibility of opening a railway via Abkhazia was not discussed during the negotiations. Instead, other possible routes were discussed. ''Do I think it will be possible to find a solution? Yes. We are in the stage of talks,'' he said.
