YEREVAN. - Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian alliance on Sunday introduced its election program.

The program was introduced by alliance representative, MP Stepan Margaryan, who ranks 7th on the candidate list.

In the latter's words, the key points of the program are to raise the salary of contract servicemen up to 240,000 AMD, while the officers and warrant officers should receive from 320,000 to 480,000 AMD.

''These changes will cost maximum 50 billion AMD to the state budget. Consequently, it will be possible to increase the number of contract servicemen, and gradually remove 18-year-olds from the frontline,'' he said.

Secondly, the party proposes introducing maternity capital. Mothers should get 100,000 AMD for the first child, 500,000 AMD for the second and 1 million for the third, as well as 4 million for the fourth child. It is necessary to form personal maternity fund after the fourth child.

The third point of the party program relates to supporting business. Companies with turnover of up to 60 million should be exempted from all kinds of taxes, retaining the threshold of turnover tax at 115 million AMD. According to the party, VAT should be lowered from 20 to 18 percent.
