U.S Congress passed a bill, defining the policy of NASA for the next five years, as well as budget of the agency for 2017 fiscal year, which will begin in April. The document is expected to be signed by the country's president Donald Trump, Space News reported.

The House of Representatives approved the bill on March 7to authorize $19.5 billion in spending for NASA in fiscal year 2017. The same bill passed the Senate by unanimous consent on February 17. 

The document asked NASA to create a roadmap for getting humans "near or on the surface of Mars in the 2030s.

Besides, the Congress officially initiated the beginning of works on a mission to Europe.
