YEREVAN. – A small incident occurred Saturday during Yelk (Way Out) Bloc’s parliamentary election campaign in downtown Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The representatives of this political force attempted to campaign at Cascade Park, but the security officers in the area did not permit this stating that there is a museum there and campaigning is prohibited in the area.

MP Nikol Pashinyan, who is third on Yelk’s proportional representation list for the forthcoming election, did not argue with them.

They bypassed the area and campaigned at the yards of the nearby residential buildings, whereupon they continued unimpeded in the Cascade area.

Subsequently, the Yelk members campaigned along Baghramyan Avenue.

The parliamentary election in Armenia will be conducted on April 2.
