YEREVAN. – The Union of Greek Non-Governmental Organizations of Armenia on Saturday convened a review meeting, in capital city Yerevan.

At the event, and considering the long-term and effective cooperation between the Greek NGOs in Armenia and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), the latter’s contribution to the Armenian National Assembly’s (NA) recognition of the genocide of Pontian Greeks and Assyrians, and union board member—and NA Vice President—Eduard Sharmazanov’s being on the RPA proportional representation list, the Union of Greek Non-Governmental Organizations of Armenia decided to support and assist the RPA in the parliamentary election to be conducted in the country on April 2.
