Radioactive substances were detected on board of aircraft that was traveling from Armenia through Belarus to one of the European countries, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said.

His announcement came during a meeting on the organization of the Belarusian-Russian exercise “ “West-2017” , BelTA reports.

He asked to report to him as soon as the investigation into “all these incidents that took place on the state border today” is over.

“We must keep our eyes open and in no case allow destabilization of the situation in our country,” he said.
