The FBI Director James Comey confirmed that his department is actively investigating the attempts of the Russian intervention into US elections, including a possible cooperation between the Russian authorities and Trump's campaign headquarters, reports Voice of America.

Comey had a speech at the Intelligence Committee of the US House of Representatives, along with the head of the National Security Agency, Michael Rogers. According to him, it is impossible to tell the approximate dates of completion of the investigation. As for the leak of the confidential information, Comey called it a serious crime that should be investigated and hold the perpetrators accountable.
