YEREVAN. – A delegation from Armenia, led by Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan, is on an official visit to Paris.

In the French capital city, Mkrtchyan met with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Assistant Director-General for Education, Qian Tang, the Ministry of Education and Science informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They discussed the prospects for UNESCO’s assistance in the development of the education system in Armenia. 

The minister presented the respective priorities and programs. 

Qian, for his part, expressed readiness to assist in the programs aimed at the development of education and the implementing of such reforms in Armenia.
