Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) will hold no more rallies in Germany ahead of April’s referendum on expanding President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s powers, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported quoting Cologne-based spokeswoman for the AKP’s coordination office abroad.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan directly accused German Chancellor Angela Merkel of using “Nazi methods”, in response, the head of the German government called such statements unacceptable.

Earlier Germany canceled two rallies with participation of Turkish ministers which caused Ankara's dissatisfaction.
