EU summit on Brexit will take place on April 29. The main directions and format of negotiations on Brexit will be discussed during the meeting, DW reported.

After London officially announces the withdrawal of Britain from the European Union,  27 leaders of EU member countries will meet on April 29 to agree their negotiating lines for Brexit talks.

Earlier it was reported that British Prime Minister Theresa May would trigger the process of leaving the European Union on March 29. The notification that Britain would invoke Article 50 of the EU’s Lisbon Treaty, the official trigger for Brexit, would be done by letter.
