Armenia’s newly appointed ambassador to Russia, Vardan Tokhanyan, intends to actively use social networking websites to present Armenia; he noted this at a press conference on Wednesday.

And when asked what he plans to do to enhance communication with the media, Tokhanyan responded that the Armenian embassy in Moscow will be as open as possible with the media—especially the Russian media, work together with bloggers, and not solely inform about the activities of the embassy, but promote Armenia and its traditions and culture focusing on the regions that are distant from the Russian capital city.
