Yelk (Way Out) Bloc is the sole political force that rules out a coalition with the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Edmon Marukyan, who heads Yelk’s proportional representation list for the forthcoming parliamentary election in the country, on Thursday stated the aforesaid at an assembly with voters in Tsakkar village of Gegharkunik Province.

He noted that there has not been a regime change in Armenia for many years and attempts at a peaceful change of power have failed for 17, but this time there are election technologies that can bring about a regime change in the country within just two minutes.

Also, Marukyan offered three options to voters: “Either you make your vote perish by voting for a [political] force that doesn’t pass the [parliament representation] threshold. Or you vote for a force as an opposition, [but] then it goes and joins the RPA. Or you vote for Yelk Bloc, and the long-awaited changes begin in Armenia.”

The top three names on the abovementioned Yelk list are Bright Armenia Party Chairman and MP Edmon Marukyan, Republic Party Chairman and former PM Aram Sargsyan, and Civil Contract Party Chairman and MP Nikol Pashinyan, respectively.

The parliamentary election in Armenia will be conducted on April 2.
