YEREVAN. - The process of printing the ballot papers for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia kicked off in Tigran Mets publishing house Thursday (photos). 

Chief of Staff at the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia, Levon Grigoryan, brought the soft copies of the sample ballot papers to the publishing house, where at about 8:00 pm the printing process officially kicked off, Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent reports.  

The workers of the publishing house took the sample of the ballot of Yelk (Way Out) bloc, whose current number is 1, and explained in detail the process of “creating” a ballot paper, which is a document of constitutional significance.

Grigoryan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that 2 million 716,600 ballot papers will be printed for each party or bloc, the total number of the printed ballot papers amounting to 24 million 449,400.

The first page of the ballot includes the name and current number of a party or bloc, as well as the names, surnames and patronymics of the three candidates of the national-level part of the election list of a party or bloc. On the second page the territorial lists of parties or blocs are published.
