President of Armenia and commander-in-chief of the Armenian Armed Forces, Serzh Sargsyan, who is on a working visit to Karabakh, on Saturday visited one of the Defense Army military units accompanied by Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan, defense ministers of Artsakh and Armenia, as well as a number of high-ranking officials.

There he learnt about the combat-readiness of the armed forces and watched the concert held at the military unit.

By the end of the concert, the Armenian President bestowed high state decorations—medals for Military Service—upon a number of soldiers distinguished during military watch for their courage while defending the homeland borders.  He also handed prizes to them and the parents, who have two or more children fulfilling their duty in the Armenian Army.

Furthermore, the President thanked the servicemen, wishing them safe service.
