The Bulgarian State Agency for National Security has declared Turkish MP Aziz Babuşcu, and Ulvi Ata, an official at the Turkish embassy in Sofia, persona non grata on charges of making threats, and banned them from entering Bulgaria, according to Posta newspaper of Turkey.

Several days ago, Bulgaria had detained and deported İbrahim Tarancı, a special director at the governorship of Turkey’s Edirne Province, on charges of threatening Bulgarian national security.

The Bulgarian side notes that Turkey is making impermissible attempts at interfering in the forthcoming parliamentary election in Bulgaria.
