Iran has announced retaliatory sanctions on 15 American companies over their “support for Israeli crimes and terrorism,” two days after Washington imposed bans, reported Press TV of Iran.

On Friday, the US State Department said Washington had imposed sanctions on 30 foreign companies and individuals.

The respective State Department statement noted that these companies were suspected of having ties with Iran, North Korea and Syria, and that these sanctions were imposed for violating the ban on the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and missile technologies.
