Diplomats never comment on  internal events in this or that country, U.S. co-chair of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, Ambassador Richard Hoagland told reporters on Monday, answering the question how the parliamentary elections can affect negotiation process on Karabakh issue.

According to him, he has no answer to the question.

"Only in general I can say that when the new government is formed in Armenia and when the people ask what to do, we will say: we need to move forward," Hoagland noted.

The parliamentary election in Armenia will be conducted on April 2.
