YEREVAN. – Any war exposes the strengths and weaknesses of the sides, said Armen Ashotyan, vice- chairman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, at a press conference on Tuesday.
He noted this when asked what prevented Armenian authorities from changing the frontlines beyond recognition before—and not after—the four-day war in early April 2016, and which Azerbaijan had unleashed against the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR).
“Major changes have taken place in the [Armenian] army,” Ashotyan noted, in particular. “Everyone learns from their own mistakes.
“War is not a computer game, but a reality.”
