The American astronaut Peggy Whitson came across a serious obstacle during her record entry to the universe, report the Voice of America. A part of the cover, protecting the International Space station, drifter away from the station.

The engineers on Earth found out, that the cover would not fly back and hit the surface of the station. They helped the staff to compensate the loss with the help of the remaining pat of the cover.

Peggy Whitson set a world record for the most spacewalks by a woman (eight) and the most accumulated time spent spacewalking (just over 53 hours).
