YEREVAN. – The nuances of the new Electoral Code of Armenia rule out the repetition of any error, and therefore they do not leave room for filing a complaint.

Boleslav Pirshtuk, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus and coordinator of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) observers’ group that will monitor Sunday’s parliamentary election in Armenia, on Saturday told the abovementioned to reporters.

Pirshtuk stated this after his talk with Tigran Mukuchyan, Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia.

“I personally am satisfied with the law which our Armenian colleagues are introducing, since it contains many nuances,” noted Pirshtuk. “As a result, today, the Central Electoral Commission received virtually no complaint from the [MP] candidates.”

He added that this was important also to them, as representatives of other CIS countries.

“Since in the future, we intend to use numerous components of your law also in our countries,” Boleslav Pirshtuk said, in particular.
