YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received a call on Monday at 6:28am, informing that a road accident had occurred in capital city Yerevan.
Accordingly, a cargo van had gone off road, fallen into a canal, a person was affected, and rescuers were needed.
Two rescue squads were dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that the driver of this vehicle was stuck inside.
The rescuers brought the driver out of the van, and took him to the waiting ambulance.
He was taken to hospital, where doctors said he was in critical condition.
