The President of the United States Donald Trump approved the accession of Montenegro into NATO. Trump signed the relevant document today, on April 11, reports the White House.
In March, the US Senate ratified the accession of Montenegro into NATO. The United States is one of the three NATO member countries that must formally support the application of the Balkan state for joining the Alliance.
