The Parliament of Montenegro voted to join the North Atlantic Alliance. The meeting was broadcasted live on the parliament's website, TASS reports.
46 deputies out of 81 voted for the confirmation of the North Atlantic Treaty and the bill to the North Atlantic Treaty on the accession of Greece and Turkey. The opposition, which boycotted the last months the parliament's sessions did not participate in the vote but instead held a protest outside the building.
