Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan will officially return to the Justice and Development Party, after the positive outcome of the constitutional reforms.

The decision on Erdogan's returning to the party will be accepted on May 2. Later he will head it again, Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet reported.

According to the constitutional changes, the president of Turkey can be a party member.
