Kurdish militia fighters in Syria have destroyed a radar station and an armored personnel carrier belonging to the Turkish army, the Kurdish ANF news agency reported.

Units from the Turkish armed forces had launched an attack on the Kurdish peshmerga positions in northern Syria.

As a result of the battles in Afrin town, however, Kurdish sources say the Turkish army suffered 17 casualties and had three wounded.
