U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview to Fox News, that he avoids trips to New York because because they are too expensive for the country, The Hill reported.
According to Trump, he prefers to visit his other properties because they are not as expensive to secure but added that he does not want to be perceived as “lazy”.
“I love New York, but going back is very expensive for the country,” he said.
