According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration, a total of 510,594 foreign citizens visited Georgia in April, reported Novosti Gruzia (News Georgia) news agency; this is 10.2 percent more, as compared with the year past.

The most number of visits to the country in April were made from Armenia (13.2-percent growth), Azerbaijan (7.1-percent growth), Turkey (19.2-percent growth), Russia (16.5-percent growth), and Ukraine (27.2-percent growth).
