Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson started talks in Washington.
After the talks, Russian FM will head to the White House where he is expected to meet with President Donald Trump, RIA Novosti reported. The meeting will focus on situation in Syria and Ukraine, as well as settlement of bilateral relations.
Earlier spokesperson for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said Lavrov will discuss fight against terrorism during meetings with US leadershop.
