A Turkish soldier was killed, on Friday evening, in a clash between Kurdish militants and the Turkish military, in Turkey.
Turkish soldiers, who had gone on an operation at the mountainous regions in Eruh district of Siirt Province, encountered a Kurdish militant group, according to Milliyet (Nationality) daily of Turkey.
One Turkish soldier was killed and another one was wounded in the ensuing clash.
Additional Turkish military units were sent to the site.
