YEREVAN. – The Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia, Ashot Manukyan, chaired a meeting of the management board of the programs that are implemented with the loans and grants being provided to the ministry by foreign countries and international loan organizations. 

In particular, the discussants conferred on the planned activities within the framework of the program for extending the lifetime of and modernizing the second energy unit of Armenia’s nuclear power plant, and the respective bidding processes, the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Two-thirds of this work, which is planned in accordance with the aforesaid program, is nearing completion.
