The Council of CIS heads of states plans to hold its meeting in Sochi on October 11, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, Sergei Lebedev told reporters.

Lebedev also informed that the Council session of the CIS Foreign Ministers  will be held in Sochi on October 10, TASS reported.

According to him, the Council session of heads of CIS governments which was held in Kazan on May 26 was “productive, constructive and having positive results.”

Lebedev stressed that the CIS “will continue to work on deepening of economic and humanitarian cooperation.”
