Relations between Russia and Armenia have reached a new level, said Russian Ambassador Ivan Volinkin, during his remarks devoted to Russia Day, on Sunday evening.

In his words, the past 25 years of diplomatic relations between these countries are an important period in the history of the two nations. 

“Russia and its citizens praise relations (…) with Armenia,” said Volinkin. “It can be recorded without exaggeration that they have reached a new level.” 

The ambassador added that Russia is the largest investor in Armenia’s economy.

Also, the Russian diplomat stressed the importance of making military cooperation between Armenia and Russia grow deeper.
