Sasna Tsrer armed group member Vardan Geravetyan has serious health issues, his attorney, Davit Gyurjyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am Monday.
In his words, the defendant has been diagnosed with a tumor, the quality whereof has not yet been determined.
“He complained of pain in his throat. We turned to the penitentiary institution. The examination revealed that he has a tumor. Its quality has not yet been determined,” the attorney said, adding that they requested the penitentiary institution to determine the quality of the tumor nearly a week ago but no steps have yet been taken.
Vardan Geravetyan underwent examinations in Nubarashen and then Prisoners Hospital penitentiary institutions.
