YEREVAN. – The “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of Armenia recorded a magnitude-2.6 earthquake in the country, on Thursday at 1:34pm local time.
The epicenter of this tremor was 9km northeast of Charentsavan town in Kotayk Province.
The hypocenter of the quake was 10km beneath the surface.
This seismic activity measured magnitude 3, at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in Charentsavan, where it also measured magnitude 3.
