Vigen Petrosyan, 20, one of the soldiers, who died in Karabakh on Friday, was the resident of Sevan town of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province.
The Army Recruiting Office of Sevan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that Vigen was to soon be discharged from army.
He has left behind two brothers.
Earlier, three Armenian servicemen were killed as a result of the firing by the Azerbaijani armed forces on Friday.
The adversary violated the ceasefire regime at about 6:05 pm on Friday, using AGS-17 in the direction of the protection area of one of the central military units under the subordination of the Defense Army. Consequently Defense Army servicemen Arayik Matinyan (born in 1997), Vigen Petrosyan (born in 1997) and Vardan Sargsyan (born in 1997) were fatally wounded.
Investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances of the incident.
