YEREVAN. – Tactical military exercises of the Azerbaijani and Turkish armed forces were conducted in violation of international norms.
Artsrun Hovhannisyan, spokesperson of the minister of defense of Armenia, told the aforementioned Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“This is their second large-scale military exercises this year, and the international community is not informed under the Vienna agreement, in both cases,” Hovhannisyan said. “Yet again we prove that Azerbaijan yet again disregards any type of international obligation.”
According to Azerbaijani media, Turkish and Azerbaijani armed forces carried out tactical military exercises in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a landlocked exclave of Azerbaijan, from Monday to Friday.
