Representatives from the embassy of Armenia in Moscow have left for the site where a passenger van, which was en route from Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan to Moscow, crashed in Tula Oblast (province) of Russia.
They told Armenian News-NEWS.am that representatives of the local Armenian community are already at the crash site.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the aforementioned van and a truck on Sunday collided on a highway nearby Konchinka town.
One person has died and six others are injured.
Russian media report that two of the injured are children, aged 11 and 12 years.
