Armenian Danièle Cazarian achieved victory at the 13th district of the Rhône department in Sunday’s second round of parliamentary elections in France, reported franceinfo.

Cazarian, who is the head of an enterprise and President of the National Center for Armenian Memory, represents President Emmanuel Macron’s Republic on the Move (La République En Marche (La REM)) party. 

She garnered 52 percent of the votes in her district.
