A van ploughed into people, leaving evening prayers at Finsbury Park Mosque, killing one and injuring 10 more people, The Guardian reported.

Abdulrahman Saleh Alamoudi said he was among a group of people helping an elderly worshipper who had fallen down, perhaps because of the heat, when the van swerved towards them. The eyewitness noted that the driver “was screaming, he was saying, 'I'm going to kill all Muslims, I'm going to kill all Muslims.”

It was noted that the driver of the van - a man aged 48 - was found detained by members of public at the scene and then arrested by police in connection with the incident. 

As the witnesses said, there were three people in the van, two of them managed to flee the site.
