Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeibecchi said that Turkey and Nakhchivan are creating a free trade zone, Haberler newspaper reported.

Turkish Economy Minister emphasized that in connection with this issue the necessary infrastructure has already been created.

He noted in Kars that they are creating a trading platform with the help of which goods worth $100 million will be transported from Nakhichevan to Turkey and back without tax duties.

Trade with Nakhchivan is not reportedly expected to differ from trade with Turkish cities. The operations will be implemented in the Turkish lira.

The Turkish minister also noted that along with this it is planned to intensify cross-border business projects with Iran and Georgia.
