Two Dutch journalists have been abducted by rebels of left-wing National Liberation Army (ELN)  in a conflict area of northeastern Colombia, Reuters reported.

A TV journalist Derk Johannes Bolt and a TV cameraman Eugenio Ernest Marie were seized while working in El Tarra in Norte de Santander, which borders Venezuela.

The armed forces have launched operations to find the two Dutch reporters.

As it was noted the 2,000-strong National Liberation Army (ELN), the second biggest insurgent group, is in peace talks with the government to put an end to more than five decades of war.
