YEREVAN. - The actions of Azerbaijan are terroristic and not military, former Armenian MP Hovhannes Igityan told journalists o Tuesday.

In his words, when one state tries to use the climate of fear for political purposes, it is a terror.

“Unfortunately, all the guarantees, which were available before, are no longer effective. The sides agreed in due time to resolve the conflict peacefully but this agreement is not effective now. Azerbaijan sees that there are other states in the world too, which don’t respect such obligations. [Thus,] Azerbaijan no longer conducts policy on its own but actively cooperates with Turkey, let alone the countries, which sell to Azerbaijan complex weapons and their specialists for the correct application thereof,” Igityan noted.

According to him, from the very beginning the objective of the OSCE Minsk Group efforts was to establish peace but Azerbaijan gave up on that work by launching last year’s April War.
