Strong earthquake hit Guatemalan coast on Thursday. It was also felt in neighboring El Salvador.
The 6.8 magnitude quake was registered 38 km to the southwestern Puerto San José, Reuters reports.
No information on casualties and injured has yet been received.
It is also noted that an analogous quake hit Armenia last year, which resulted in two casualties.
