Botswana’s former President Sir Ketumile Masire died at the age of 91.

As AP reported quoting Masire’s family, he was hospitalised in critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit at Bokomoso Hospital in Gabarone, where he died.

Ketumile Masire was the second president of Botswana since independence in 1966. He led the country from 1980 to 1998.
